This is our late great, first cat, Sans. 

So named because we found her on a friend's window ledge after a severe storm one August afternoon and I was sure she had an owner and a name ... I tried all sorts of names.

Husband said: Let's call her Merde. 

I said:  That is just rude. 

He said: Then lets call her Nameless. 

I said: No, but how about Sans Nomme ... 

Agreed. 

And so she became known as Sans, Sansy, Sanseroo, and Tex. 

Really.

She lived to be 21 people years before she passed.  She was a very funny cat.
