I took this shot of the Chrysler Building at dusk last week as I headed to an appointment on the Eastside of Manhattan..
If you want to participate in Sky Watch Friday, head over to Dot's Strolling through Georgia and sign up or just check out the other bloggers!

ReplyDeleteThanks everyone .. I've been looking at all of your photos and now I must get some work done .. thanks for all the kind words!
ReplyDeleteOh I so love the architecture of the Chrysler building and with it up against the sky like that it just looks stunning. My heart goes out to those around that horrible shooting in Illinois. My daughter went to school outside of Chicago for 3 semesters so that really affected me in a more personal way. Praying...
ReplyDeleteAstonishing how a building is so enhanced with that background…
ReplyDeleteGood-looking picture
Ohh..nice shot!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing a bit of the city with us.
ReplyDeleteMy grandson is at the USMMA on Long Island, at the site of the old Chrysler Estate. Chrysler has a real history in New York!
Thank you all for both your kind words about my photo AND for your good thoughts/prayers for those at NIU ..
ReplyDeleteMy favorite NYC building - well done beautiful composition. Love the framing.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful. New York's many marvelous sign posts in the sky have claimed a place in my heart over the years. They capture the dreams of so many. God bless.

ReplyDeleteWell you all must come visit .. its such a beautiful city and its always being tinkered with .. buildings being torn down and rebuilt .. others that will always evoke memories of better times .. places 'landmarked' to preserve them for future generations .. why am I wasting this excellent prose in a reply .. it should be a blog and likely will be .. meanwhile DO come visit either here through my pix and prose or in person.. I would love to show you 'round!
