I looked out the window this morning and saw that very same slushy, muddy stuff...and these were my very thoughts!

And you know...I actually hear birds singing outside the window today. That has to be a good sign.

The sun is shining here today, weather widget says is 32 degrees .. all I can hear are two cats running insanely and an almost muted golf game on TV .. Husband is multitasking .. reading the paper, watching the golf and ignoring the cats .. :)

Ours was all ice yesterday.. and fog this morning, so I hope it will be melted soon!
I am weary of this winter weather, too!

We are having a rain and wind storm here. Not as much as our weather-idiots predicted, but enough to make the world quite soggy. However, we have also had enough snow to choke a horse. I am MORE than ready for spring to have sprung.

you have really helped me not miss wyoming. not that i did, but if i was going to. this helps. snow is great to *look* at. from afar.

not that the consistent rain is a ton better, mind.

Spring into action, O Weatherman - just for Daryle

We're one week away from autumn!

Keep the rain, Hol, hon. Really .. we'll see enough rain in March/April just as the snow finally ends ..

David .. look at what you've got to look forward to .. stupid question but does winter get harsh in your corner of Oz?

I'm not trying to make you feel bad ... but today in the south of England it was a beautiful sunny spring day. All the buds are peeping out and everything. We haven't had any snow at all this winter. But last summer it rained non-stop ... so it all evens out in the end!

gonebacksouth, I was just thinking: you know someone is gonna come by and flaunt their nice weather .. and I am not going to let it make me bitter ..

promise not to tell? it is actually BEAUTIFUL out today .. oh its COLD COLD COLD but the sky is sooo blue .. you just wear wadders and look up and its a glorious sun filled day ..

;-D

I totally agree with you, we woke up to two days in a row with more snow. I know i am very jealous of all the bloggers that see spring flowers already don't you?

So all that white stuff is called "snow?"

I keep telling myself that all the seasons have their beauty, and that I should appreciate them all for their changes, and cycles...

But I've appreciated winter long enough, thank you...

Anita said...

...that appreciation is starting to feel like a yoga pose held too long... lol

Spring will come sooner or later but it sure seems slow this year.

Why is it that those who don't like snow always get it? Send it my way!

Daryl E said...

I would love to send this mess else where but in all honesty we've had a mild winter at least snow-wise .. temps OTOH have been COLDER .. bbbrrrr

And I do get jealous of seeing bloggers posting flowers .. sigh .. I complain but I wouldnt want to live anywhere else
