Noticed
I noticed this speech or writing pattern on GH ... and then on AMC last week .. okay, so I've outed myself. I am a soap opera addict. I watch two ... count 'em ... two soaps an evening!
Lucky, a character on GH, is talking to his brother and says: Elizabeth, she blah blah blah
Then, almost immediately, he says: Alexis, she blah blah blah The "blah blah blah" is because SO fixated was I on the 'Noun, pronoun' thing. Clearly I still am.
Is this not incorrect ... wrong ... not proper English?
