spring in the time of COVID

this week

 is 

supposed

 to be the 

worst

we've been told

 stay in

dont go food shopping

dont go to the pharmacy

that is truly unrealistic

maybe its the best way to avoid contagion

but

people 

got

to

eat

some people need medications

i am one of those who need to go to pharmacy

in fact yesterday i truly had to go to CVS

crossing the very deserted broadway

i paused

took out my phone

took a few photos of the beautiful magnolia blooms

yes

i was wearing a mask AND sterile gloves
