because 

i schlepped the real camera

 to the office 

for the fleet week flotilla

 i decided to take a few other photos 

thats west street 

used to be the westside highway

 an elevated highway 

i am not sure it was elevated all the way downtown

 anyway

 its a busy heavily trafficked artery

from the 43rd floor

all those cars and trucks look like toys

dont they
