even in the rain
i love dogs
i do
every so often
i
tell my husband
we should get a dog
after easter weekend
after spending the afternoon
with
our friend's two fabulous dogs
we both admitted a dog would be great
but
as
he put it
we have one cat too many
truth is
its not
just
the cats
its
a
tiny
apartment
its
having to walk them
can
be a good thing
and
a
not
so
good thing
i mean
i would have to get up at 4
to
walk the dog
so
i could feed the cats by 5
in order
to
get to the office by 7
i shudder even thinking about it
then
there's weather
dogs
may not like
the freezing cold
of winter
the heat/humidity
of summer
yet
they
need
to go out
even in the rain
