iclouds, photos, techs, oh my

this photo was taken early on wednesday evening

 its a good thing i took it 

because

 later that evening

 my computer 

was

 'taken over' 

by 

apple's uber cloud techs

they'll be figuring out

 what the heck is going on

 why the iCloud isn't communicating

 with

 my photo apps and vice versa 

part of the investigation

digging into the why not 

required freezing 

the iCloud 

cutting it off 

stopping 

it from

interacting with

my iPhone and iMac 

 all my over 23,000+ photos

(hard to believe

 i have 

deleted

 or

 saved to a thumb drive 

over

 6000 photos

since

 sunday)

are safe in the apple vaults 

they will 

be 

returned

downloaded

to 

my various devices

after

 everything is working properly

it was fascinating

 to discover 

how many times

 i have taken the same photo 

of the church on the corner 

of WTC

of the cat(s)

of 

well 

a lot of things

i also discovered

 its not so hard to be ruthless

to delete photos

to acknowledge 

not 

every 

shot 

is

 a winner

i discovered

there were duplicate 

occasionally triplicate 

copies 

of 

the same image 

not

 that i shot it more than once 

but 

that it uploaded more than once

the fabulous brandon

 assures me

 the uber tech group 

will have some answers for me on friday

 i love puzzle solving
