 thank goddess its friday

 what a week

 i am finally not exhausted

 that

 is

 saying a lot

 i do plan on sleeping in saturday morning

 i am going to close the door to the cats

 i dont care

 how much

 they 

wail or scratch at the door

 i am sleeping as late as i possibly can

 so there 

 i discovered

 a shorter way home

 going 

to the office 

in

 the morning

 i dont mind

 the 

walk 

from

 chambers at west broadway

 its 3 or 4 blocks

 its direct 

a straight line 

i like that

 going home

 in

 the evening

 that walk

 seems a lot longer 

thursday

 it rained all day

 fortunately

 both 

my

 to and from 

did not happen

 during

 down pours

 the entrance to the subway at chambers 

is 

on both sides of the street

 so 

as 

i walk 

if the light is red uptown

 i cross to the opposite side of the street

 are you following

 my disjointed train of thought here

 there is a point

 thursday evening 

as 

i walked 

the light changed 

so

 i crossed west broadway

 kept walking north

 as

 i got to park place

 i thought

 lets see

 where

 the subway station is

 so

 i walked up the street

there at the next corner 

was

 the subway entrance

 down

 the stairs

 i went

 followed the signs

 to

 the 2 and 3 trains

 its a bit confusing

 but

 i found my way 

i ended up

 on the platform 

where 

the front

 the first car 

of 

the uptown train 

would 

stop

 and

 its a stop

 below

 chambers

 which means

 there's a better chance 

of

 getting a seat

 yeah me

 i got a seat 

what do you call the driver of the train?

 its not the conductor 

the engineer?

 is it the engineer?

 anyway 

whatever

 he or she is called 

they had a heavy foot 

we sped uptown

 really 

it was the fastest

 its been all week

 i left the office at 4:30ish

 got out of the subway at 72nd street

 at just before 5 

yeah me

ok

 the windows are in need of a washing

 the rain did not help

 thats

 the south reflecting pool

 and

 the triangle-ish building

 is 

the 9/11 memorial museum

 those trees are gorgeous 

i hope that i can get a better photo 

with

 less reflection

 soon

 it was pretty awesome

 when the fog rolled in thursday afternoon

 it was a total white out

 i didnt even attempt a photo 

because

 all you could see was a reflection

 of

 the inside of my office 

which
