Lucky you! If you'll go to...http://www.universalhub.com/2014/too-soon-way-too-soon... you'll see the first evidence of such things sighted in Boston.[As a matter of fact, if you read through the thread at that site, you'll find me mentioned by name by another commenter, as well as my reaction. My disgust at such things is apparently legendary among a certain segment of Boston's population :-)]
Oh, you're kidding me! You guys get them in Sept? I'm livid if I see one before Halloween. They should really be made illegal, shouldn't they?

Go into a Hallmarks and you already see Christmas ornaments up in August.
Oh, Toonman, there's quite a bit of Christmas here, sad to say. I LOVE Christmas, but over the years, the store begin to "celebrate" it earlier and earlier. I don't like that at all.Thank you for the smiles Toonman! :-)
I saw my first ad in August.. it was one of those inserts in the newspaper, promoting a Santa Clause decorative plate. Yuck.
I don't think Toonman is paying attention, is what I am thinking.
Early holiday ads are right up there on my pet peeve list...along with those pesty stickers on fruit and veggies.
