  2. I love the photo of the cats! They totally overshadow you walking twenty miles in pouring rain and blazing heat to wear the soles right off your shoes and your feet as well.
But I can be sympathetic, because I have been nowhere today and have sore feet anyway. "Sympath, sympath."

  4. Way to go! I hope you walked in some sensible shoes because comfortable feet make all the difference.

  5. Good plan to "gear up" for your walk-a-thon in The Buckeye State.

I took a yawn shot of ZOZO last week...how ironic!

  6. Way to go on the walk, Daryl!
Can't help you with the feet, but for the legs, in a word...stretch. The backs of your legs. Probably a bit late now, but if you do it right after, no soreness. :-)

Love those little furry ones! xo.

  7. A long walk does one the power of good, until the day after when you can't walk! LOL

  8. One of my best memories of our first trip to NYC...walking across the Brooklyn Bridge! I definitely want to do it again. We took the train from Brooklyn (have no idea which one) and walked from the Manhattan side.

  9. 7 miles, you are awesome. I was going to go to Dealy Plaza to get grab a geocache (yes, they are everywhere) and it was too darned cold.

  10. OMG - I've done that walk across that bridge and I know how exhausted you must feel. Even though it was the dead of winter, we were pouring in sweat half-way through. But what a gorgeous day for a walk you must have had, assuming the weather was anything like it was here.
