being an influenster

a while ago
i joined a group
 called

''influenster is a community of (these are their terms) trendsetters social media masterminds and educated consumers who live to give opinions of products and experiences

influensters meet on the influenster site to learn about new products from 'our' favorite brands as well as review the products they already use in their day-to-day lives''

there's something called
 a voxbox
they send out monthly
with
 a product
 or
 a coupon for a product
 to test and review

i didn't get asked to test/review anything for quite a few months

i was pleasantly surprised
 to be selected
(along with quite a few others)
 to review
a new sliced cheese from sargento

 a box arrived
 the aforementioned voxbox
 it contained
 two coupons
for complimentary product(s)

a card explaining
 what to do
 how to do it
 with
 instructions to reveal
 as i am now
that
the product was received in a complimentary fashion for testing purposes from influenster

sargento
whose cheeses i have eaten and enjoyed in the past
now has a line
 of
 ultra thin sliced cheeses
45 calories or less a slice

 nicely packaged
 in a re-closeable plastic wrapper

paper between the slices
 makes it easy to separate

i opted for the spicy pepper jack
natural monterey jack blended with jalapeño and habanero peppers
great for wraps omelets melting over chips and more

right up my specy spicy alley

also
 in the influenster vox
was
 a eco-friendly lunch tote
its got sargento's name on it

it looks as if its made by built ny
maybe its not
but
 it looks like it is

i dont know if this is going to influence you to try it but i think if you do you'll like it

that is all

  1. Hmm, not sure I'm easily influenced by anything, and as much as I love you, I'm still quite sure I'd have to arrive at the conclusion to buy the cheese myself. Also, no matter how cheap/cute/fat free/convenient the product is, I'd still need to know what's in it. But the reusable lunch bag is cute :)

  3. I don't think I've ever had pepper jack cheese.

  4. I like their cheeses, but didn't know about ultra-thin slices. So maybe you influenced me. LOL.
