a cat tale

 Jack is a slow eater

takes a bite

 looks around

Harry gobbles

 before Jack is done

Harry is done
looking to nose into Jack's bowl

someone
must stay with them
 while they eat

Recently
(tho they eat the same food every day)
 Jack has wanted less wet

 okay
he can have more dry

then
Jack decided
he did not want any wet

okay
 give Harry more wet
 give Jack more dry

 til this morning

 this morning
Jack ate his small amount of wet
and
 when
Harry decided
to
 bury
vs
eat
his wet food
 Jack
ate
 it
all
 gobbled
 it
down

 Harry ate dry

 i stood there
scratched my head
  said out loud
they are cats, they are cats, they are cats ...

  2. Ha. I know Bibi will go to my friend's dog bowl and eat everything when we visit. Poor Roki just stands there...Bibi is not as nice about sharing, and I have to put her bowl up when Roki visits. Your photos are really cute.

  5. Looks like a little sibling rivalry going on between those cuties. Mine will eat only dry, and we have to dish it out a spoon at at time throughout the day to keep him from scarfing it all at once and then barfing on the carpets. They SAY having pets lowers your blood pressure. I sincerely doubt it.

  7. Having met them, I can attest to them being cats :-)

Has Harry's star turn in the "Mickey & Patsy" videos gone to his head, perhaps?

  10. Oh too funny. They are such individuals and have their preferences. It's a good thing you understand them or it might drive you over the edge.

  11. They are cats! Ours lick their individual platters clean (wet only; vet banned dry as Herself needed to lose weight) and then scurry over to see what they can pick from the other's...

Very precious little ones, and they have you well-trained, which is precisely what they've set out to do!
    LOVE it! xo.
