  1. I like the art.
    Delightfully chilly?
Sigh, I miss that - though there will be some here as Autumn sets in - it won't be New York Golden October!

  2. Oh I love the bathers too. What a great exhibit.

  3. I love these sculptures! Don't you love it when people take a chance on experimental art? I do. About 20 yrs ago my then husband and I opened a seafood restaurant in the resort town of Whistler and I wanted a sculpture for the front. I contacted the Emily Carr school of art and offered a student the chance to make me a 5' by 7' rusty iron crab. (for money of course, but not as much as I would pay an established artist) Win win of it was I got my art and he got his name out there with a major installation in front of a major restaurant. I did that for three more artists with other pieces. :)

  4. a marvelous exhibition - I like the bathers too
we went to a ChiliFest, lots of walking lots of chili (even though I didn't try any - the hubby did) lots of people and music, ended up at a very nice bookstore
just nice to get out for a while and enjoy the beautiful day!

  5. Very cool to see the sculptures & NYC scenery!

  6. I sent this to Lisa...maybe Sam would like to see these...or maybe they would FREAK HIM never know with a toddler!

  7. Daryl, obviously some very talented people! The Bathers look more like survivors from a shipwreck to me!

  8. Wow, these are wonderful, and what truly talented artists! xo.

  9. Awesome collection of sculptures Daryl, the man is amazing.
