water towers

is it safe?
 i wonder

i dont want to jinx it
 but
 a week from today
 i
will
be
in
 paris

my friend mary's doctor has given her the okay to travel

 this time 'round
i dont need to spend days
 thinking about what to pack
 no need to stress
 over which
 coat(s)
 to take
no heavy coat necessary
 its may

while
it might rain

 lets face it
paris
is not known
 for its
sunshine

 it wont matter

i am going to be
 with
good friends
taking
photos
wandering
the streets
flea markets
bridges
seeing the sights
eating
drinking
shopping

woot!

oh yeah
those
water towers?
they're
atop
buildings
overlooking
 riverside drive
riverside park
along west 79 street

  1. First of all, I absolutely love this photo. But I love even better that you're finally making it to Paris. I'm only sorry I won't be there at that time; going in early July.... Oh, well! Next time, right? :)

  13. Say hello to Sainte Chapelle in Paris for me. So close to Notre Dame and better in every way. The windows at Sainte Chapelle are original and there are so many of them. I'm always amazed that people overlook this gem.
