Adoption Event for 4 Legged Sandy Victims

Community Animal Assistance
Adoption Event for Hurricane Sandy Victims and more
Please bring everyone you know, and help show support for this important event!
Northwind Kennels, which has provided shelter for so many animals in need, from victims of Hurricane Sandy to animals at risk in shelters, is holding an adoption event this Saturday.
Date: Saturday, March 2nd
Time: 11 am – 4pm
Where: Northwind Kennels, 402 Old Post Road, Bedford, NY
There will be animals from Northwind Kennels, and also from Best Friends! All of them are hoping to meet someone special. And they need the support of their community. So please, help make this a big success.
You’ll meet dogs like Rita, a Hurricane Sandy survivor who used to be terribly stressed out. But she’s been blossoming steadily. She can still be shy, but she’s gradually learning to be fun, playful and polite. And at just over a year old, she’s ready to take that leap into a home, and hopes that somebody will pick her this weekend!
You’ll also meet Teddy, a funny-faced bulldog who’s a whopping 95 pounds, but as gentle as a lamb! Relaxed and laidback, you’d never know that he too is a survivor of Hurricane Sandy. He’s with Best Friends now and will be at the adoption event, hoping to meet you.
There will also be plenty of cats!
