water tower wednesday

seems
I've
 given
a certain
 prestige
to
water tanks/towers
 friends
 bloggers
comment leavers
have
 all
said they notice them all the time now
well
me too

  these 3 made
me
list a little
to get them all in
 my 28-300mm lens
 is a lovely thing
but
 it
 ain't
 a wide angle

 now dont quote me
 on this
but
 I do believe these are
on
West 78th Street

  2. I am definitely more aware of the
water towers since you started posting them.
I don't miss many along the roadways, since Bob
is quick to spot them and reminds me to get a shot.

  3. I love the three...but the grey sky, the tilt, makes it a little ominous.

  5. I too am more aware of water towers thanks to you. The angle here is crazy; I'm imagining you squirming around to get all three in the shot.

  10. No real water towers here in NE Oregon, but I'll soon be checking them out in Brooklyn....maybe even in Manhattan....when Hubby and I spend a week with our son.

To see 3 at a time would cause me to stroke out I'm sure :)

  12. You absolutely have made me notice water towers, I've spotted one that I passed over 10 years commuting to work that had otherwise gone unnoticed.

Love this one, esp. the ominous clouds in the background.
