those buildings
 were the 
very 
brief 
view 
from
Toonman's
hospital window 
last February 11th
after 
only 
an hour 
in the 
ED 
(formerly the ER)
and 
2 hours in a room 
he was 
'bus'ed' 
(medical speak for riding an ambulance) 
uptown 
to 
St Luke's cardiac center 
where he had 
open heart surgery 
on 
Valentine's Day

everyone 
seriously
everyone 
said
it was
the 
'perfect' day 
for such
procedure.

    On the post below, I love the shots of the puppy, but I would be terrified to leave Roy out there alone.

  15. I guess the doctors selected the right day considering all is well now. I cannot imagine going through such surgery and how painful the recovery must be. Your shot of the skyscrapers are great. genie
