great capture - the new against the old. It must have been very cold this day looking at the gray water and skies...
Had there been three boats this photo would have been the perfect Three On Thursday trifecta shot!Well done!
I'll bet there were three boats there, too, but you just couldn't get them in the frame! Good one.
Nice catch, and I like the way the single boat balances out the threes.-----------------------------------My photography is available for purchase - visit Around the Island Photography on etsy and Society6 and bring home something beautiful today!
Shame there wasn't another two boats eh?
I'm longing for those warmer days right now. Summer can't get here soon enough.
perceptions are so funny...somehow I missed the memo that said the hudson is a BIG BIG river and the New jersey is not back woods country LOL....
Your photo is great, but there's just something about the aesthetic of those towers that absolutely turns me off. To each his or her own, of course. De Gustibus Non Est Disputandum, as my grandfather said when he had an audience with The Pope and wore a chicken suit to the occasion.
Isn't it wonderful when everything just comes together so perfectly? What a beautiful black and white image this is!
Actually if you click and enlarge you'll see that there ARE three boats in this image, brilliant collection of three three's Daryl!
A hat trick of threes. I see the third boat, too!Excellent, Daryl.

I've been here! And I know what Trumpistan looks like!Great shot.
Another great find but I gotta say that I much prefer the pier parts than the buildings.
nice in b&W ... and yes, 2 more boats and you'd hit the trifecta!
Great shot. You nailed it. I agree with renna - I, too, love B&W photos. Wonderful. Cheers!!
