And so to those photos from our Central Park Zoo outing

 are you ready?

  Here we go!

We walked 

to the zoo 

from our apartment 

on Riverside Drive 

testing 

ToonMan's sense of direction  

Its weird 

but 

even 

those 

with a good sense of direction 

can get lost 

turned around 

inside 

Central Park 

The Zoo's

entrance 

is on 

Fifth Avenue between 62-63rd Streets

Walking through the park 

there was 

a 

lot 

of 

music 

 the bubble man was entertaining

gazebos 

were there 

for those 

who would climb 

rocks to get to them

when we got to the Zoo

the first stop

was

the Tropic Zone

man

its 

hot

in there

birds of all color

and

sizes

fly free 

and

perch

everywhere

it was 

so hot 

(how hot was it?)

so hot

these turtles were trying to climb up to where it might be cooler

We left the Tropic Zone 

heading over to 

Temperate Territory

where

 this red panda thought 

if he took a bath he'd feel better

he reminded us of our orange tabby Jack

then we went to see the

sea lions

they were 

frolicking 

racing 

around 

their pool 

taking a good photo 

required the training 

I had got at Lunar Park's Scream Zone:

pick a spot 

and 

aim 

wait for your subject 

to enter the frame 

and 

keep 

snapping!
