like a cheap rug?
so true...forgive the irony.
It has to boil eventually.
I'm having a hard time "getting" this. Who is "they"? What are they lying about? Having said that, I'd also have to say I agree. "They" lie about everything. From soup to nuts. Trouble is we have no choice sometimes but to rely on "them" - they who lie.I sense a great deal of frustration in this cartoon... :-)
I knew it was a lie!Are you making mac & cheese?

I always suspected it but was too afraid to watch in case it didn't! ;)
you're so wonderful!!
Perfect. I actually was watching a pot this past weekend and told myself not to watch it. This is so good to hear LOL ♥
Well if ya stand there long enough ...
What's for dinner????
I should have known you'd be a kindred spirit in this regard. MY WIFE and I watched a pot boil when we were first dating. That tells you far too much about our courtship, in all probability.
patience is a virtue, but curiosity keeps me patient longer. when i was younger i used to NEVER add salt to the water that i would boil because i was told that adding the salt causes the water to get to a higher temp in order to boil & higher temp = longer wait.
