sky

There was a very strong feeling
spring might be on the way yesterday
I took this on the way to the subway.
Dozens of pigeons
were
circling
the towers of the church
some settled
 in on the tree branches
anyone see
Hitch?

  1. The robins did the same thing here a couple of weeks ago...spring might be slowly but surely approaching?

  3. Very nice, Daryl! I really like that web of branches that makes the straight lines of the towers so dramatic; and the color!

  7. Beautiful! Spring is in the air, but it struggled to get out of the 20's today around here. But, on the bright side it was sunny and beautiful!

  11. Really cool shot. Pretty soon those branches will be covered with fresh spring growth and you won't be able to see those marvelous towers through them anymore!

  14. I love how the trees fan out across those lovely towers.

Birds are slowly arriving here, and it's so nice to hear them talking again.

wv: excreta. I think corn fields are sometimes involved with excreta, but only in emergency shituations.

  17. Ha, was about to comment on The Birds! When I see masses of birds in one place, I still think of that film and it gives me the creeps.
