seasons

I am a winter when it comes to colors, horoscope and foods
but in my heart I am
spring
while I love naked branches
stretching up
 to the winter sun
waiting for the first real warmth
 to let their buds pop
I love seeing leafy trees even more.

What season is your favorite?
What season are you?

  1. Definitely summer (even though colorwise I'm a fall myself).

How many more weeks until Summer Stock returns?

  2. what a wonderful question ;)...... I am fall all the way! changing colors, cool breeze - the world is so colorful during the fall months. Not too hot & not too cold! I'm alert and alive and full of extra gratitude preparing for the love of family gatherings.

  4. I am autumn and that's where my heart lies. Although I love spring and winter . . . eh, summer is ok too I guess . . . I yam what I yam.

  5. I love all the seasons for different reasons & have often thought I could never live without four distinct seasons every year.
I probably like Summer the best, then Fall, with Winter and Spring being a close tie for third.
    I love this shot Daryl!

  10. I think I am an autumn and that is my favorite season as well. Love the colors, the clothes and the brisk clean feel to the air...don't love raking leaves!

  12. Generally, I do believe I'm Autumn. Well, that's my favorite, anyway, so I'll say I am even if I can't come up with anything to back up that statement.

  13. Love the Autumn, cool crisp air and fabulous fiery colors, definitely my favorite. Close runner-up is Spring, the others are just TOO extreme for my liking!

  14. A really nice, tangled web of branches shot!

In central Florida, the bestest seasons are spring and fall...like now...75-80 degrees during the day; 50-55 degrees at night. It's lovely!

  19. Same trees here; not complaining. To every season there is a pleasure...still waiting for buds, though!

  20. I love the summer even though I complain about the heat, the humidity and the insects. Oh, and the fiddler crabs. But still it's my favorite season.

wv: reestle. I reestle with killer mutant insects in the summer, and they usually win.

  21. I am definitely spring and summer and a bit of fall. Never, never, never winter. Can't stand the starkness of the trees and no green. Puts me into a very deep depression without warmth and green.

  22. Definitely a Winter colored wardrobe is what's occupying my closet though I do have the occasional splashes of Spring in there.

Season-wise I enjoy the last part of Fall as the air becomes crisp heading into Winter and I love the last part of Winter when the rains come and the buds of Spring begin to appear. Being from the Northwest a good rainstorm rejuvenates me but if it rains for more than one day at a time I can't stand it because in the NW it doesn't rain as much per storm as here on the East Coast but makes up for that by raining for several days in a row.
