Beautiful sky! Amazing the amount of imagination those Victorians had...
I have seen this in a movie...(I am too lazy to click your link now)....is this also the place where the acrobat Philippe Petit did his public performance to 'pay for' his walk between the Twin Towers?
Looks like a fun place to explore.
Awesome shot, my friend!
Wow! I could be back in the past seeing this.
Looks like the king is in residence.
Beautiful place, gorgeous blue skies and what a terrific capture, no surprise there!! Have a great weekend, Daryl!Sylvia
I always meant to find this on one of my excursions into the city. My kids would die over this place. Gorgeous shot!
That's a wonderful shot. It reminds me of a picture I took of our daughter at about age 5 sitting on her Dad's shoulder there looking very tired but it was a sweet father/daughter shot. When we visited my sister, all my daughter wanted to do is wait her turn for a rope swing in the park. It was funny because there was a very organized mom who learned all the kids names and would holler out a name when it was their turn on the swing. I was very impressed. The moms in our parks, including me, were never that organized but with all the different aged kids that wanted to swing on that one rope swing, it really helped having that super mom. The reason the castle reminded me of that is when J got worn out from playing we went up to Belvedere Castle and at that point she wanted to sit on her dad's shoulder. Hard to believe that was 20 years ago.
Nice spot. Something about it makes me want to shout "I'm King of the World."
You make me so homesick for NYC!I love it. :)
