LOVE the stonework and the terracotta roofing. Very Old World. Nicely captured!
The blue sky is so perfectly lovely and soft against the bricks of the buildings.
Beauthiful Clear Blue sky...the buildings are very interesting also.
Nothing better than exploring the essense of our cities...beautiful capture!Smiles
All that romantic architecture followed by the utilitarian, oh so necessary water tower. We can't help but get back to basics.
I like the brick building and the shadow that come from it. You also have a blue sky nice weather. Happy weekend!SWF~ Blue sky

Very cool shot my friend;) And it's not snowing in here any more!
I always appreciate your views of your city. In this case, the patina of old bricks and wood and that sky! WoW
I like the water tower, but I love the different styles and textures of those buildings even more.
Nice Photo. It feels more like England or Europe in general. It must be the brick work.
That water tower looks like something off a farm - neat.wv: mophiat. A mophiat is a car made by and for gangsters.
I thought by now you would have leaves on the trees. Great picture.
A truly lovely photograph of your lovely city - a view that is not often seen...I remember the first time I heard about all the water towers...very surprised!
Gorgeous blue - and the shadowed stone of the building make a lovely contrast. The tower adds interest.

This photo's composition carries your eye over to the water tower - sort of like finding a nice surprise.
It's Life in the Big City.So different from where I reside.

I'm glad to see Jacob's comment and know that I'm not the only one who's been surprised at finding that NYC uses water towers. I hadn't a clue but in thinking of the city's population it makes sense that they would be practical.I love learning about the city through your pictures. :)
