well, it's the whole damned if you do and damned if you don't, so do (and you may even get it right) and then she can always return it and get the one she wants - perfect! :)
Answer: buy her both! :)
How do you know indeed? You take a guess and hope you're right. If you aren't....well, she loves you anyway.
I believe we are members of the same fraternity. Fortunately, most women only have one birthday a year;some don't have any.
well at least he makes and effort and appears bothered....mine is still getting silent treatment for not getting me anything for christmas, my 50th or our 25th anni'...it our 28th at the end of the month...l guess its about expectations..I now don't EXPECT anything ever...sadnew camera eh? you lucky duck!!!I'm still getting by with my pentax optio...not so many options though that work well..saz x
Yes, like Bibi said - buy both! Or just be sure to keep the receipt so she can return it after she changes her mind again. It's a woman's prerogative. Also, indecisiveness is a sign of genius. That's what I was told. I hope. I thought. Maybe it isn't. Is it or isn't it? Who knows?
Bibi beat «Louis» to it! Get her both, Toonman!
Poor Toonman!! Welcome to my husband's world;)
Gift certificate! (yeah I know.. not the same)
So um, when is her bday anyway? I don't want to miss it and I know it's soon... And hell yeah, buy her both.
If you have to pick one pick the Macro, trust me on this... But both is also a good option.
those lens cost an arm and a lung so I think both is probably not practicalso I say either LOLwith her eye she can make art no matter the equipment therefore anything extra is icing
Oh Toonman, this could be a minefield...I'd say tread carefully, but I think it's now too late for that...best buy both. That way you'll be the hero and I'll get credit for encouraging you - a win, win, win all round I say!
I agree with Hilary and Dianne. While both would be GREAT, they are ridiculously expensive so, both isn't practical in one punch. But maybe giving her the gift certificate with the plan to take time out to get it together and make it a special event could be a great, thoughtful solution to the dilemma. :)I don't know if you guys are pranksters with each other, if you are, it'd be a great surprise item if you put it somewhere she's least expecting to find a birthday gift but in a place she visits every day. Then maybe each day forward when she visits that spot, she'll think of you and the wonderful lens she got to pick out because of your thoughtfulness.
Boy, Toonman sure got that one right. The solution is easy. And guaranteed to strengthen the matrimonial bonds - make a note, Toonman: Buy both!!!!
So true!Aloha ha ha, RayComfort Spiral
When in doubt, just hand her the credit cards and ignore the high bills.
I say both should solve that problem.
You can't go wrong with either one, sweet man. Just go through my link on my blog when you buy it!!Ha. No pressure here.
Toonman, honey your job is to get both , like Bibi says. But tell her she needs an 18-200 with image stablizer. She will love me and you! V
I've never seen the word "embiggen" in print. Delightful! x
It's a wise man that questions before buying...My very own quote, LOL!
Duh... it is simple. You buy her BOTH!
What's wrong with a gift card for either and an extra gift (more personal) on the side?!
Play it safe and get both, boss!
Tell her you are flipping a coin ;)she'll make up her mind!<><WV- butday~ Happy Butday baby!
Very very smart guy you married, Ms. Daryl. (Oh, and I'm also voting for both!)
Funny! The toon guy is a pretty smart guy.
get her both toon dude you will rate oh so high in all books!!!!!
Silly Toonman!!! When a woman can't decide, you just get her BOTH;)
Well, your other commenters answered...both. :)
Buy both!Seriously though, I love my ultra wide-angle 10-22mm most but then I live in the land of the wide open spaces that really need it. Not sure the same can be said of NYC?I don't have a Macro, as I view this mainly as specialist for plants & nature, which are not my thing.Apart from the standard 18-55 & 70-250 telephoto, my other go to lens is a 50mm F2.6 which is a superb portrait lens as the bokeh is stunning.
How about both =)xoxox
SHE WANTED BOTH!!!!!
