  3. I wonder if this qualifies as a "FAIL" :)
I have another street scene from NYC this week as well, from back in late November. It's amazing what a difference a few weeks can make!

Happy WW and Happy New Year!

  6. How cute! I don't think I've ever seen a tree poking out a car window before, lol.

  7. I have no idea why but this picture reminded me of the picture I took in New Orleans over Halloween of a pickup truck parked on Bourbon Street with a casket in the back. (Did you get the box from me yet?)

  8. I've had stranger things hanging out my car windows before. Maybe the tree was a diversionary tactic to keep him from being ticketed for parking in front of the hydrant? I mean you'd have to be a real Scrooge to paste a parking ticket on a guy delivering a Christmas tree, yeah?

Then again, this is New York. The guy'd probably ignore the ticket anyway.

  10. It's not every day you can take your best tree out for a ride in the car.

  18. Maybe he couldn't figure out how to dispose of his tree, and was hoping the car would be impounded, and they'd take the contents, and... nope, I'm just grasping at straws here.

  19. I hate to admit it but that looks like some of the crazier packing jobs I've done in my cars. Fun shot.

  24. The only thing missing is the fire department hose running though the car. Great photo.
