Oh, I like this shot a lot. The gray sky compliments the dark trees. Beautiful capture and one can feel the cold. I like the fresh snow clinging to the trees too. Very nice.
Love the photo even if it DOES make me shiver!Brr.
What a shot!and I love how the snow has gathered along the branches. Nice view of your city.
Terrific shot, Daryl, even though -- like Mojo -- it did make me shiver. Marvelous shot!Have a great weekend and stay warm! Thanks as always for stopping by and for your comment, much appreciated!Sylvia
The Towers look almost like a castle through the trees. Cool photo, Daryl!
Lovely view, the towers have a subtle warm look to them in contrast to the trees with ice.
Ooh! Very frosty! Now I'm shivering!
It almost looks like a fairy tale. I love this photo!
Looks like a winter wonderland to me. It makes me think of the Home Alone that was set at the Ritz hotel (I think it was the Ritz).Snow is forecast here for Saturday morning. What a hoot. I've still got begonias blooming on the porch. It probably won't do anything. If it does snow it won't stick because the ground is too warm. We don't have winter wonderland scenes very often so we love it when we do.
Scared me for a minute, until I saw the date. I'm really not ready for snow.Your photo is very lovely.
A great job on your sky watch today. A very nice shot of the tree and sky.
That's a beautiful winter scene. I've been looking through snow shots from last winter for a new header soon. I'm not waiting for it to snow this year because it's so hit and miss whether we'll get a pretty snow where I live.
Brrrr... And wow. Definitely can't forget the wow.Heading to bed now, how did it get to be so late?
oh ms. daryl...a most interesting capture...like the textural quality of the trees in the foreground....hoping you're doing great.hugs
So that's what snow looks like.Love the web of branches and how they frame the towers in the distance.
very nice natural colors!Happy skywatching and happy weekend!
This is looks crisp and intriguing..really nice one-
Whenever it was taken, you pushed the shutter button at exactly the right time!A simple, yet magnificent picture!
With this weird head and the promise of snow this weekend, I am thinking this is prophetic.
Daryl, very nice composition! Love the muted colors!
A classic! Reminiscent of The Flatiron Building photo by Alfred Stieglitz.
So wonderful; I can smell the snow and city!Aloha, DarylComfort Spiral
WOW! It's amazing and somehow a magical photo. Look at it with that view; it's really magical.Forest Warbler
Wow, nice shot, i guess its very cold overthere, Well done!!Happy SWF.Eric
That's a beauty. I love how fog adds such mystery to a shot. Those towers look majestic.
Gorgeous photo Daryl! I love how the snow landed on the trees. We might get some on the white stuff in a few days!
I really like this shot Daryl! The fog, the ice....central park =)xoxox
Forecast sounds like we could have some of that falling tomorrow around these parts. Bring your cold weather gear!
brrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!Chilly! As others have said, nice shot. It really captures the cold.
I can feel the froze down my spine. What a dramatic photo, well framed with the branches from the trees and snow.Have a cosy yet fun weekend.AlexanderAlex's World! - http://www.kakinan.com/alex
That could easily be a shot I take today. Storm warnings are in effect for the next 3 days for all of Alberta. Oh yeah. New Orleans? Why oh why am I not there now?
I love that building. I think that's the one that was in the movie The Devil's Advocate
Beautiful. It looks so European to me.
This is very pretty. I love it!
