We have had some awesome weather this fall!! I'm afraid we are in for pay-back though!! Beautiful picture Daryl!
Such an amazing picture! I never would have thought it was taken in Central Park, it looks like a shot from my back yard (we live on a lake). You have such a gift for finding beauty and capturing it. This one really made me smile. It was like two good friends, enjoying the morning and being together.XXXXXXX
This is such a lovely picture. As Cheryl said, not at all expected as a city picture.
Feels like home.* sigh *
...what CG said....
What a nice stroll in the park. We too have had wonderful weather and in fact just had our first freeze this week which is unusual.
What a cool shot!I cannot wait to see it for myself.<><
I love the reflection in the pond..so serene and simple.

Look at the line of that beautiful, graceful neckand the reflection!!beautiful Daryl
As always, you have a taken a gorgeous shot in the park! I'm curious to what kind of bird it is too! Enjoy your day.
I agree with whoever said "amazing shot!"

When was this taken? Recently or in the summer?
a beautiful creature and I love that it resides in the midst of a huge city xxo
Great picture Daryl.
One does not often see a shot of this particular bend in the neck of the egret, ready to catch something! lovely!
Sharp shooting, Daryl. If you hadn't made note it was taken in New York, I would have guessed you took it on a trip to Florida. Looks just like Florida.Hope your week is wonderful!
That shot is perfect. Everything about it is great but I can't get over the wonderful reflection of the bird.
You catch some amazing animal shots. Love them all.
And he's looking for breakfast! (Or was it lunch?) Awesome shooting!
Wow, I love this picture. The amazing things that can be found in NYC. It makes me wish the weather was still warm but we're supposed to get snow tonight...
So 'out-in-the-country' like... Lovely.
Doing lunch with the quality, eh? Gorgeous.
Saw some of these guys in Central California on Sunday--hanging out in rice paddies and other wet places. Someday, I will be driving through Central California and not have to be home the next day and I will get off of I-5 and find them and take their picture.
WOW! Incredible. Is it egret? Maybe a heron? The picture is fantastic no matter what kind of bird it is.
