Got Junk?

  1. I know lots of people that need that truck.

  2. Oh man do I ever! Think he'd cross the pond for me?

  3. That truck isn't big enough for my junk.

This outfit often shows up at those House Cleaners or Hoarders shows.

What a great concept, but I am not sure if they'd make a trip to Mathews.

  4. man's junk is another man's treasure.

I leave things out all the time; and they are quickly taken.

And I have found some real treasures too.

I have an antique heavy iron scale with NEW YORK designed in its mold. Very heavy and not like the flimsy scales of today.

Found in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn.. 13 years ago; I'll never give it up...

I have a wonderful picture on my living room wall; the exact colors I love and style of drawing.. found at the curb on garbage night..

I threw out a fox fur long coat.. since I was getting married and did not want my husband to be to see it.. it was taken quickly .. lol.

All in a circle.. take and give.. Junk.. to some.. treasure to others..

  5. P.S. should have kept the fur; and not have gotten married. and then

  6. Hahaha! I got plenty of junk, mental as well has physical.

  7. I always wonder how these folks make enough money to keep going, but junk can be recycled to make more junk, I guess, and we buy that new junk, too!

I'm getting ready for a garage sale...and I'm amazed at how much "junk" we've accumulated in the 5 years we've lived here...

But, I'm also hoping one man's junk is another man's treasure!

  8. i'm not quite sure what this van does. they should really put an ad on the side to identify themselves or something.

  9. WoW! The epitome of *junk in the trunk*. You're funny, Daryl.

Still, I can't help but wonder where they take all that junk once it leaves your trunk, lol.

  10. Oh, these guys are the best. I helped a friend clear out a 20 year old compulsion fuelled nightmare of an apartment and the lads who arrived were respectful, helpful and most importantly, strong!

  11. Wow, they really ARE the largest in the world. We even have them down here in the woods!

    Great shot BTW.
