These photos are absolutely delightful. New York has so many amazing sights. I would love to see them one day.
gorgeous captures...hey i need a trip north too. do you entertain southerners? lol
one of my bestets books, love Frances H. Burnett..gorgeous statues..lovely post D.
Awesome shooting! Love the soft focus (hmm... didn't I already say that once today?) and the light is sensational!
I'm more of a fan of "A Little Princess", though I like "A Secret Garden" as well. Who knew it was in NYC? ;-)
I so loved Central Park, and everything in it!
'The Secret Garden' is a special read - hope to share it with my grandchildren someday. I love the pic of the tiny bird - quite sweet.
Such a beautiful part of the park...I love the big urns...
I just adore those cherub like birdies in the bath....I want to see this in person one day. I love seeing these photos.
What pleasure looking at your "soft" shots brings me, Daryl! :)
There is nothing "hoodlike" about these wonderful photos.
A secret garden, indeed! Love the birds...
What a simply glorious spot. My idea of balm for the soul. Nice pics.
Beautiful captures. Central Park is one place I have only very briefly visited and it was back in late 2005 when Gareth was working in Manhattan. I was hugely pregnant with Gaby and had taken the train in to the city to have lunch with him and we took a cab to the park. We didn't have much time and that saddened me as there is so much to explore. Something tells me one could spend a month there, exploring and still not see everything. One of these days I am going to feel well enough again, and confident enough to go back there.
I love the soft look of this! I think it's my favorite of your collages!
Aww look at the little sweeties having a bath.
So enchanting. I've never made it to Central Park in my handful-ish visits to NYC. This alone would make me go there.
