summer stock sunday

Spotted this 3 mast
schooner/sailboat (whichever) asail
on the Hudson a few
Fridays back, I believe those
are tourists on a cruise ... I
could be wrong, but
I am usually not.
Ask Husband.

And I thought
what better shot to post,
this last Sunday of Summer Stock Sundays,
than a sailboat
sailing!

  6. What a fantastic sailboat - can I have a ride, too? I like the sails against the modern building. Great shot.

  9. They're going to be firing cannons at 11! Be on the lookout! Or listen-out;)

  10. One thing this Michigan girl isn't used to is seeing a vessel like this with high-rise apartments/condos in the immediate bg!

  12. What a boat! Can't imagine having to control one sail, let alone those 3 HUGE ones. Neat pic, Ms. D.

  14. There is something so romantic about sailing vessels like that one. However, I've had some close calls sailing which were anything but romantic.

  15. Oh, I wish I was one of those tourists!!! I used to love sailing but haven't done it in years. No place to sail around here for about 500 miles in every direction...

    What a fabulous shot!

  22. All that sail looks great and would feel great as it sweeps along silently over the waters majestically.
