My first thought was...he looks like he works hard for his money!
I want to shake his tamborine
Street performer's like this often makes me curious with their story..Nice portrait show of him :)
Busker. I'd forgotten about that word; it's a great one. And this is a great picture. Thanks!
This turned out great.
he looks bored...lovely capture though!
oh, this is a wonderful shot - I not only like the shot of him, but what is going on behind him - your 'one man's spam' post was hysterical!
I like all of the activity in this photo ~ so many stories waiting to be told.
i would think the side walk would be safer than in the street... but... in the mean time interesting ...
Is he playing "The Sounds of Silence?"
I love good buskers and they usually are good. :)
I like it!
what a dapper fellowI hope he doesn't get hit by a bus ;)
Gorgeous capture Daryl!Have you tried this in B&W?I can hear him sing..And he for sure have a story to tell.Have a great day!Anna
Just saw The Soloist recently and this reminded me of him... not to say that he has a mental disease!
did you like his music?
Good looking busker! Nice pic.
But was he any good?
Your post might be wordless but I have a feeling that the subject of your photo was saying - or singing - a lot! He even has CDs to sell!
It makes me a little nervous that he's not up on the sidewalk...
Love people getting out there and doing what they love to do. Provided that don't suck, that is. Ha!I need to start an entire wall of your prints. I love your stuff! (As you well know!)
I don't think I've ever seen a busker with a microphone. Usually they just set up and belt it out!
Why is he standing on his tamborine.....Nice to be back from craziness to see your still here posting entertaining information to the blog world...I missed you....Sue
Wonderful slice-of-life, Daryl. Love the way he's all dressed up - even to the shoes. The other hat on the ground is cute, too. What kind of music was he playing? Was he any good?Tough way to make a buck!
Getting ready for the Woodstock revival perhaps?Joyce
I like how his tamborine foot =)
I love this shot. The whole set up with the musician, the bikes, and the pedestrians works so well. Lots going on.
Awesome photo of a hard working man. :)
A man wearing a suit like that just HAS to be playing the BLUES!
I'm diggin' that denim suit!!
thats very cool, he looks like he doesn't belong in this decade.
How did I miss this gem?Nice technique, and suit, busker-boy ;-]
To answer your question that is a giant calder at the museum. I actually went to Woodstock and so that young man and his guitar made me have a flashback even if he was wearing an American Idol type suit:)Joyce
a midnight cowboy if i've ever seen one...
Now that's taking the show on the road! Great capture!
Hope he makes it BIG!
