James Garvey, a blacksmith, and his crew at Koenig Iron Works
It has 35 bright red/orange faces, forged from coiled steel,
mounted on posts of varying heights.
The fence extends in diminished form
to the archipelago of two smaller islands
between 45th and 44th Streets.
