boom!
Sometime during the wee hours of this morning a bike rider tossed an incendiary device at the Times Square Recruiting office. Fortunately the office was closed so no one was hurt. Times Square was closed to traffic for hours until shortly before 7 a.m.
I work directly across the street from the building that houses those offices and I take, yup, the M104 right past it. As luck would have it the bus I was on had to stop for a traffic light directly next to where at least 3 dozen uniformed police along with many plain clothes detectives and bomb squad members were investigating.
Here's what I was able to capture before the bus moved on .. these were taken through a not very clean bus window while it was moving so the photos arent all that:
