city daily photo theme day - electricity

the challenge for March
was to find
an example
of
electricity
in your city

well
the big apple
 is rarely dark

thought about this for a while
and
realized
there was a lot
 of
electricity
at work
right
outside
my office door

Times Square!
 electricity
at its finest
lighting
billboards,
offices,
street lights

all lit up
yup

  3. Love what you've done with this Daryl, I never realized until I read some of your comments yesterday just how many people use Picnik, we should protest against the closing of this facility, wonder if it would do any good!! I can't even imagine how much electricity places like NYC, Tokyo and Hong Kong use, to power up all the neon signage. Mind boggling!!

  12. Cool shot. Looks like some of the photos I've put together with Instagram. PS - I got rid of the word verification, too. It's definitely way annoying.

  13. Gorgeous shot.

I'm all for getting rid of word verification, I did that too. What I did was activate comment moderation for all comments on posts older than 15 days. I find that all the spam I get arrives on these older posts anyway, and my regular commenters don't get annoyed with word verification.
