flea market finds - a whole lotta junk

Just
goes to prove
one man's junk
can be
another man's treasure

I guess
 if you are interested
 in
distressed buckets
 (they could make nice planters)
or
distressed chests
or
tables
or
little foot stools
or
benches
this
is
the
vendor for you!

  1. distressed or distressing? Some of the pieces could be used as planters as you say...

  4. I'm a firm believer in that saying. I love looking round flea markets - a veritable treasure trove!

  5. I love walking around flea markets but I'm better off not buying because then I get it home and think, "What do I want with this?" And that's distressing.

  6. Very colorful. It looks like it could have been taken 75 years ago.

  7. Certainly is an eclectic collection. I could see, possibly, building an entire room or two around the theme, as a quirky sort of statement, but one piece would be hideous :-)

  14. There's no telling what some people will buy, but you know what makes a good photo, Daryl, that's for sure.
I hope no one is around with a camera when we have our 10-years-deferred yard sale this spring. There will be so much JUNK, I'll have to hire someone to haul it after away before my husband decides to put it all back into the garage.

  17. Your NY flea market is much more fun than the French ones I've found.
