  2. One of the bad things about living in a small town -- after a couple of years, you've eaten in every restaurant!

  3. One of the things I enjoyed about living in the Bay Area was the choice of takeout at so many good restaurants. A smaller town has its limitations.

  4. That's one of the things I miss when I'm in OXON; not a single delivery service around me for at lest ten miles. Not even pizza! Robert can't believe it when we're in Van and I call for a pizza or Chinese or something. It's like Christmas to him. There is something called "take away" where you can order from the pub and go get it, but even if that's only a mile down the road, it kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it? Actually, I think London only began with the delivery only a few years ago. I remember living in my parent's apartment in the middle of London and dying for a late night pizza!

  5. Daryl, I wonder if they get paid while they are sitting waiting?
    Neat shot!

  6. We have very few restaurants in our small town, and I don't think any of them deliver. I also don't think the pizza places in the city next to us will deliver "way out here" even though our town line meets their city line. And there are certainly days when I don't want to cook or go out.

  7. The dining options near you are crazy-good. Just amazing. If I lived there I'd be three times my current size within the first year. Or month. Or week. Heck, I'd never even leave Zabars.

  8. That must be pretty amazing Daryl..although I must admit now that I can finally cook again in my kitchen I'm loving it and the thought of take away is not appealing at all!

  9. Come on! I know you're not a big meat eater, but how could you resist ordering something from Chirping Chicken? Hell, I want to and I'm pretty sure I'm WAY out of their delivery area.
