  3. If the end of the world happens we'll all be gone anyway so why worry? LOL

  4. I just think it signifies the beginning of something else, not necessarily an end to end all ends. And my lucky number is 13 too

  5. Dan Marino #13 Love Him!!

ahh what do those Mayans know? Only the Great One know the day and the hour...If it is the last year, make amends, and have no regrets...its nice to be important, but its more important to be nice...

    I liked the toon, Ray...

  7. I remember driving down to California last summer in May when the world was supposed to end (was it the 21st...?) and seeing billboards to that effect all over the place.

  8. I always say, if the Mayans were so damn smart, where are they now? I personally go along with a theory espoused on Saturday Night Live this past week, that they just ran out of room on their calendar and that's why it ends in 2012. If they had had a bigger rock to carve it on, they would have kept going.

  9. I personally think the Mayans either ran out of room on the stone, or the second stone was dropped. (Kinda like the 12 commandments were reduced to 10 when 2 were dropped. According to Mel Brooks.)

  10. Not worried a bit. After all the freak out over 2000?

  11. Shoot. I make 14 comments. I hate to be the one who pushed the numbers past Toonman's luck. So, if the world ends, you can blame me.

  12. Aren't the Mayans extinct? Who believes a bunch of long-gone folks, anyway?

    :)

  13. I just love odd numbers - perhaps because I'm odd? I don't believe in all that hokey stuff. Besides, I have much work to do on this planet yet, so my mission/purpose on Earth isn't done. Teehee. Cheers Toons!!
