This
old guy
was
waiting
outside a store
on
Broadway
a few months ago
I love
his gentle face
and
how
he has managed
to
entangle his foot and his leash
yet
seems not to mind at all
He knows his person will fix it
What a handsome boy. He looks just like my neighbour's dog, Jake.. a gentle giant who is really rather young, but walks like an old guy due to hip issues.
ReplyDeleteHe's the only dog on the street that when encountering my cat with playful enthusiasm (as they all do), had the sweetness to read the feline body language (fear, caution) and assured my cat of his harmlessness by lying down to make himself smaller.. then proceeded to lick his head.
They're a great breed.
He looks very patient. :)
ReplyDeleteI want to tell him - just move over a bit, the leash will fall
ReplyDeletewhat a big sweetie
Interesting contraption on his head...he looks to a big gentle softy and very intelligent
ReplyDeleteI want to hug him...
ReplyDeleteAn old softie...I am always fixing Bibi's leash...
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet dog!
ReplyDeleteI Love Labs..they are so sweet...always wanted a yellow Lab.
ReplyDeleteI so relate to this 'old guy' - it takes us this long to know what to put our energy into and not worry about the small things like a tangled leash - it's all good xo
ReplyDeletewhat a strange photo. I feel sorry for the dog, actually.
ReplyDeleteHey, he's a lab. I have some of them on my blog today. ha!
ReplyDeleteAwww...I hope his person came soon. With treats.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet dog.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the twin to a dog my kids had. Such a gentle old soul.
ReplyDeleteAwwwww.
ReplyDelete"Oh bother... sigh"
ReplyDeleteHe is so huggable!
his patience shames my impatience, Dar
