Come along
with me
to the
West 78th Street GreenFlea
its been open
every
Sunday
from 10 am til sundow all year 'round rain/snow or shine
there are indoor and outdoor stalls
today
(actually last Sunday)
we're only wandering the outdoors
I am sure
that
saddle
has seen a lot of riding
I wish
I had a place
for those
boxes
I guess there are still a lot of
SLR users
those lenses seemed in fine condition
those trunks
immediately
made me wonder where
the two
we have
are stored
and
whats in them
if nothing else
appeals
there is always
the Farmer's Market
with
its
potted plants
and

Those trunks make me think of going to summer camp. I remember mine was blue and we'd fill it up with the list of items we would get from the camp. My mom would sew name tags on all my clothes. Gosh, I haven't thought about that in years! Thanks for jogging my memory!
ReplyDeleteSo glad I finally got my sorry self to this!! Just wonderful;)
ReplyDeletewhere is this at again? I would give anything for that saddle and the trunks too. Thanks for letting us tag along!
ReplyDeleteLove the saddle and trunks pics. Looks like such a fun place to wander. Those lenses need end caps!
ReplyDeleteSaddle on a box makes for a fine sit down! I bet that leather is as soft as butter. I'd like to have the boxes too!
ReplyDeleteThis is close to you...by streets I mean LOL what a wonderful place!!

ReplyDeletelove wandering the world with you... thanks again :)
ReplyDeleteLoving the tan coloured case in the first pic and of course all the fresh produce looks scrumptious!

Fantastic.. I would love to wander around the market.
ReplyDeleteHope you didn't buy one of those lenses.... the first thing I noticed was an absence of caps for the front
and rear....a magnet for dust
Fun series, I love shooting markets too.
ReplyDeleteYou know, if you're willing to shoot full manual (and forego in-camera meters, etc.) some of those lenses would be compatible with your camera and could be had for a song ;).

Flea markets are so much fun, even if a person doesn't spend a nickel while there... just great to see what's out there.
