  3. OMG! I'll still be laughing in the morning! 'don't want to wear a hoodie while you watch TV' - I'm busting a gut!

  4. A hoodie in August is just wrong! Hopefully things will cool down for you now!

At least the air conditioning fix happened a lot faster than the painting!

  5. That sounds like a lot to go through! I hope everything is just right now. Did the cat puke up pretty colors all over the carpet?

  6. Honestly, I haven't minded our cooler temps a bit! I do love my A/C though!! The hoodie thing is hilarious!

  7. Ray, Ray, Ray.
You do suffer so, don'tcha? If it's not the kitchen remodeling it's gas lines, then it's the hateful painting and now air conditioning units out the whatsit and cats that eat plants! Ya know, if ya weren't a Jew you could be a saint. :)

  12. It is so good that your significant other has such a good sense of humor under such trying times, LOL!

And, no, I don't have a lot of hair...it's just that both strands are kinda heavy!

  16. Hilarious! My cats like to eat new growing plants, not mature ones! I hope you find a comfy temp soon...

    Painting was worse, mwhahahahaha!

  17. That makes painting sound easy. Unless he got the color wrong and somebody didn't like it...

  18. At least Ray is never bored!!! Hoodie to watch tv? My kinda evening.

  19. Too funny! I'll be laughing all afternoon. And for the record, I watch TV in flannels & beneath a blanket all the time. "Factory air" is just too cold.

So, what will he be painting next?

  20. Oh, that was too funny! You two are a barrel of laughs. Sort of like in a Ricky and Lucy kind of way. I loved that show =)

  21. LOL you think he would have checked with you first where to put it wouldn't you? :)

  22. Such a mensch. I hope you're *ahem* taking good care of him D.

  23. See, I'd be the girl putting on the hoodie and a blanket just because I like the air conditioning that cold... Don't tell your hubs, though. I wouldn't want to make him sad. :) You two make me laugh!

  24. OMG this is too funny!! I agree, no hoodies for watching TV. I hate that my AC blows right on me where I sit :(
Stay cool, it is supposed to be brutal the next few days.

  25. Poor Ray,tell him our air is on the blink! Cdub is not home and it is 87 degrees upstairs....
    Thank goodness for ceiling fans!

  26. Too funny. The last frame was just perfect! Thanks for the laugh on this very humid, hot August night - summer has arrived! And our A/C is not in yet! Sweaty sheets tonight!

  27. Bundling up in the summer is just wrong!!

    doesn't a low setting work?

  28. I guess I'm more grateful for our lack of a summer up here than I thought...especially after reading this. Too funny!

  29. Sounds like my husband and I debating the ceiling fan speed and the width to leave the French doors open to the mountain air.

Also, we just learned that our replacement ice maker was shipped to Massachusetts instead of New Mexico.

  30. Climate control is an art, not a science. When you approach it like art and realize that it's very subjective, there is no *wrong way*. Bless the man who follows his art, and bless the woman who is patient.

And good luck to the cat who intervenes. Good luck!

This all made sense in my head, sorry.

  31. Poor man - and poor you too! I'm actually not laughing (except a sympathetic chuckle) because it all sounds too familiar. Glad we don't need AC over here...

  32. hehehe. Painting was worse?! That's why I'm trying to find someone to paint!
