Nice colorizing, very well suited to the subject.

I love this! I'm boat crazy. Do you live close to the water?
Your last post cracked me up and reminded me of when I bought my digital camera and realized I could not take a picture of it.

This shot has an old-fashioned feel, as though it was coloured artificially. It gives atmosphere.

Very clever - a combination of monochrome and colour!! Can't wait to see what your new baby does!

Love the tug. Living on an island is great. You get to see all manner of things that people inland never see.

Like I said, you never want for subject matter. Happy Wednesday!

I know I am dating myself, but, the word that comes to mind is "Annie."

I love the heat distortion from the exhaust stack. Really puts you "in" the picture. And spot color always makes things pop.

you're getting really good at this, I still can't master it

you're gonna have to teach me one day - I really love the effect

Hmmmm.....I wonder if CBW has secured a tugboat for our Water Tour of Mathews...wouldn't that be FUN???

PS - Does your fancy new camera take 20 lbs off of its subjects?? Just askin'...

You are the photoshop (?) genius! Love how you colored this.

Deb said...

like the way you applied the color...nicely done

I like this a lot, too. The red tug tells one there's a lot of life left in that big, ol' grey city after all!

The Tug is looking good.

Great use of color.

Great shots. I love the way it's black and white with the boat alone in color. Your new baby is looking good in the post below.

Love the colourising or (as Robin said) colorizing. Very effective.

Love the T shirt on the side bar too. I am signing up as having been Darylized (T), but what we need to do, is work out how we identify Darylized people.
I'm thinking... but not too hard or my head might explode. It's your (T) so let me know what you think. ;0)

Loved the photo! Those are the hardest working boats on the river. I love watching them on the Detroit River.

I remember taking tons of pictures of tugboats when I was a high school photography student! I just love the look of them.
